Air Cushion Recovery Service

Picture
Air cushion recovery is an essential service in order to reduce the damage and financial impact of a loaded unit on it's side.  Air cushions are used to reduce further damage to the unit by apply a low pressure lift that is spread over the area of the unit.  It many cases, air cushion recovery can be performed without unloading the contents of the trailer.  This not only saves valuable time reducing road closure time, but it also provides a solution for sealed loads.  This can be extremely beneficial in the case of food commodities, which once the seal is broken must go to the landfill.  In this example, there is a higher likelihood of the load being salvaged thus reducing the cost of a lost load, preventing further damage to the unit, unloading cargo costs, as well as transportation and disposal costs.
